I'm the hunt for a patient home...you see, I've had a rough go of it thus far. I was found running around with my leash attached. Sadly, no one came looking for me. I'm relearning everything now but, I am ready and willing to please. I'll need to learn how to play, how to be calm in the home, how not to be nervous too. I have been very calm and cautious with other animals here and may be fine with other dogs or cats in the home. Due to my need to reintroduce myself to thing snad to become a social butterfly...no children for me please.

Happy and somewhat goofy at times, I am on the search for an active, dedicated household. I do well with most dogs that I have met but, will need to be allowed a slow introduction so that I can be sure. I have been described as a clown, adolescent yet, loyal and patient. I would be best suited for a home that understands herding breeds. My intelligence and dedication makes me a gem although, a bit tougher if not given proper socialization right away. Children will need to be 10 and up for me please.

I am fearful and will need to learn to trust with you. I may be best suited to join a household with another dog in the home already to help me learn the ropes! I love a crate and will do much better if offered my "own room" to snuggle up in. I will go to my crate when stressed...which may happen more in the beginning of our relationship as I get to know the routine in the household. Due to my nervous nellie nature, no children for me please. Cats may be okay but, I'm still figuring them out.

I've been in a foster home now for a few months and have learned so much! I am already crate trained and do quite well on leash. I still have little bouts of energy and get pretty rambunctious at times...but, if we play fetch for a bit, I settle right down. I do have some slight herding instincts and will nip at heels of other dogs when we get really going...please research herding breeds for more information about how we behave. Due to this behavior, I am asking that any companion canines meet me first to be sure they can handle me, dog savvy cats only and 8 and up for children in the home.

Greyhounds are so often misunderstood, I don't need to run and romp about all the time...as a matter of fact, I am calm and easy going. I am nervous with all the changes I've been through but, things are looking up! I am wonderful on leash and walk very nicely next to my person. I do well with most calm dogs and may even be okay with cats. Please, ask the staff about appropriate introductions and safety. Due to my nervous side, I am asking that children be over 8 and I will need a nice, comfy crate to settle down in.

I have lived with children but, would prefer those that have already been shown how to behave around strange dogs. you see, I can be be a bit nervous and maybe a little headstrong at times as well. So, 8 and up for me please. I am learning about other animals and seem to be adapting well to cats. Dogs I am fussy about who I want to spend my time with so, let's make sure we get along.

I am cautious and shy at times needing someone to gently help me come out of my shell. I may benefit from a crate in the home to allow me to have my "own room" to retreat to at times. While I have lived lived in a busy household before, this was not the best situation for me. I am looking for a home with older children, 10 and up please, cats are fine. I may be okay with another dog, but will need one with a similar, low key kind of attitude to be successful.

I am looking for that very special someone...someone who knows that us Dachshunds are somewhat demanding of our people. I like my crate and like it set up my way! I will move the blankets until I like how my room looks. I do like to be held and carried but, I am trying very hard to learn to be on the ground and not be nervous. Blue has been in foster care for the last 3 months, he has really progressed much farther then anyone thought he would. He has proven tobe super smart and willing to learn. His driving force is to please the ones he loves. When Blue first went into foster care even the sight of the TV would scare him. Blue is very smart and has been in almost daily training including one on one and group trainings which he excels at. He loves walks and it does him good for the daily exercise as well as obedience training, 10 minutes a day is all!! Blue is completely house broken and loves his crate. He finds comfort in his crate which is why he sleeps in it. Blue is very good with other dogs after an initial "get to know you" sniff or bark and loves to play, play play. Blue is a love bug at heart and if you love him and be patient with him he will reward you with plenty of kisses and cuddles. He loves to take rides and sits and waits patiently for your return. His nickname is "Wiggles" because when you get home he is so excited to see you he wags his tail and his whole body wiggles! Blue needs a loving patient and willing to work type of home because he is still learning how to be a doggie and he is almost there. Please give him a chance. I am simply put, a happy girl looking for a perfect companion. I have previously been crated far too many hours of the day so, now I am searching for that perfect companion that can work with me and build a great relationship! I am well mannered when we work together and just love to be with people. While I am okay with other dogs, I am asking that I be the only one in the home...for now to allow me to settle with my family. A bit of a nervous nell at times, I like the easy life best. Too much commotion just makes me shy away a bit. Bouncy, happy, silly that's me! I love to be in the middle of everything, other dogs, cats, people. My energy is boundless and I am working on focusing it into better manners. Gentle and overall an easy going guy, I adore being adored! I play nicely and share my toys easily. I do play a bit of "keep away" at times but, I am very appropriate overall. Don't be alarmed, I do "Smile" when I am excited. I already know some of the basics and I am certainly a quick study, learning things so quickly! I should be an easy addition to the average household.

I am a pretty silly guy, still acting like a pup in many ways! I love playing fetch and will work hard to keep the game going as long as you let me. I have done well with some other dogs I have met here..I tend to prefer the rough and tumble type as I can be very vocal when we romp about. I have begun training here and really respond very well to positive reinforcement. I have mastered many of the basics and now simply need that "right" fit to take me home. I would prefer a home with children over 10 please as I continue on my quest to become the perfect canine.

I'm what they refer to as one "hot ticket"...I am easily distracted by things around me and need some help remaining focused. I absolutely adore playtime and love to race about and be silly. I like the game of keep away so much as well! Incredibly food motivated, I will work hard for whatever you might have in your hands! I have great potential to be a wonderful companion as long as my new family knows all about leadership and how to keep me on track. No other dogs for me as I am too competitive and no cats either. Children should be older for me, 13 and up please.
